I am a graduate of AMI (The Atlantic Media Institute) and worked with Eastlink TV starting in 2001, first as a volunteer while in school, then as an employee. I started as an Asst. Producer in Sydney, NS and then moved to Producer in Truro.
In December of 2008, I became Regional Manager for Northern Nova Scotia.
Along with overseeing Northern Region TV staff and Eastlink studios in Amherst, Truro, New Glasgow, Antigonish and Sydney, I directed live programming, including live sports like QMJHL hockey and AUS basketball, football and hockey.
I also handled host duties and play by play for all sports covered by Eastlink TV. I hosted 2 of the more popular shows on Eastlink TV, Atlantic Filmmakers and Swap Shop.
In December of 2013, I embarked on the next journey as I started Firm Foundation Media. This step allows me to pursue my creative vision and share it as often as possible, while providing me the freedom and flexibility to partner with like minded individuals.
From August of 2015 to August 2018, I was Executive Producer for Bell TV1; under contract to oversee their Live Streaming production, including hosting several shows and handling play by play duties.
I also represented Bell TV1 on air during a weekly segment on CTV Morning Live called the “Sideline Scoop”
May 2020 – Present
I’m Senior Producer in the Multimedia Department for SaltWire.
My role is to coordinate and manage nearly all aspects of the video/audio production process from start to finish and to collaborate with all departments within SaltWire.
Thank you to those who have been so instrumental in getting me to this point and to those who have been so wonderfully supportive of me continuing to do what I love, both in calm seas as well as stormy weather.
